Evaluation and cleanup of leaks of commercial and residential
petroleum products from Underground Storage Tanks (USTs). The
eligible party pays the first $10,000 (the deductible) in costs,
and the fund pays up to $1 Million for each occurrence including
the deductible.
Deductible is reduced to $250 for on-premises heating oil USTs
less than 1100 gallons and residential motor fuel USTs less
than 1100 gallons, and any size farm or residential on-premises
heating oil UST |

Underground Storage Tank Replacement and/or Upgrade Program |
Loans for replacement of UST systems are available to small
retail stores selling less than 20,000 gallons of gasoline per
month and to municipalities with populations under 2500. The
loans may be used only for the replacement of UST systems that
were in existence on January 1, 1987. Loans for upgrading of
UST systems are available to any owner of a category one tank
system, regardless of gasoline throughput. The loans may be
used to upgrade or replace faulty piping, secondary containment,
release detection monitoring equipment and related purposes |
