Permitting & Engineering Section

This site is designed to provide access to information regarding air pollution control permits. The Engineering Services Section is responsible for the implementation of two permit programs: Air Quality & Climate Division Permits to Construct, and Air Quality & Climate Division Permits to Operate. Information pertaining to the review status of individual permit applications may be obtained from the Agency of Natural Resources' Environmental Notice Bulletin. What's New in Permitting?

2015, July 1st Revised Air Pollution Permitting & Registration fees. Mailing to all registered facilities apprising of fee changes June 24, 2015.

2014, October 8 – Need help preparing your permit application? Sometimes air emissions permits can be complicated and may require expertise to complete. Consultants specializing in the preparation of permits and compliance testing are available to provide assistance. If you are a consultant and would like to be added to the list, you may register here.

2014, June 19 – Mailing to printing industry including excerpts of potential future regulation and survey. Survey responses are due back to the Agency by August 1, 2014.  Instruction on where to submit the survey can be found in the mailing above.
