Agency of Natural Resources Secretary Elizabeth McLain today announced that the Enforcement Division has formally settled an environmental violation involving Brattleboro Salvage Company, Inc. This company operates a solid waste transfer facility in Brattleboro. The settlement includes a $12,000 penalty plus the payment of avoided franchise taxes and interest that totals $327,388.
