State of Vermont Press Release March 27, 2002 Through the Agency's investigation, it was discovered that Dream Builders, in the course of doing business, did not meet its permit requirements when it failed to provide adequate standby disinfection, submit monthly reports, develop and maintain an operations and maintenance manual, issue public notice, and complete water quality monitoring. The matter came to light as a result of a routine Agency inspection. After the investigation was completed, Dream Builders was notified of the violations and agreed to settle the matter. The settlement was reduced to an assurance of discontinuance and was so ordered by the Environmental Court on March 20. In it, Dream Builders agreed to submit monthly reports, conduct water quality monitoring and otherwise come into compliance with state regulations. It was also agreed to fund a $3,500 supplemental environmental project. |
