Vermont Organics Partnership

The Vermont Organics Partnership was formed by the ANR's Solid Waste Program in response to the phased organics disposal bans adopted under Act 148, Vermont's Universal Recycling law. The Partnership was created as an open forum for discussing, disseminating, and sharing information around diversion and management of organics in state, as well as to build relationships and leverage common organics interests and goals. It also serves to identify challenges to implementing the organics aspect of Universal Recycling and to find shared resources to address those challenges.

Anyone is welcome to attend meetings of the VOP and to be added to its growing email list serve. To receive the information about upcoming meetings and to receive emails from the Partnership, contact Josh Kelly, Environmental Analyst IV at the ANR Solid Waste Program at (802) 522-5897 or josh.kelly@state.vt.us.
