Effective Date of S.27

S.27 was signed by Governor Dean on June 13, 2002 and was effective upon signing.

All of the key dates in the bill that are related to activities such as subdivision of land or substantially complete construction of buildings, water supplies, or wastewater system are expressed in the statute as being "in existence as of the effective date of the act." Therefore any subdivision or construction that was complete at anytime during June 13, 2002 is deemed in existence as of the effective date of the act. Activities occurring on, or after, June 14, 2002 were not in existence as of the effective date of the act.
