Application for Original License

 To be eligible for a designer's license, a person must:

    • Submit a completed and signed application form

    • Pay appropriate fees as specified in Title 3 V.S.A. Section 2822; and

    • Complete and pass the examinations

Application for Renewal License

To be eligible for license renewal, a person must:

    • Submit a completed and signed RENEWAL application form - you will receive a reminder by mail prior to expiration of your license

    • Pay appropriate fees as specified in Title 3 V.S.A. Section 2822

      • Submit a Continuing Education Affidavit for Reporting Attendance at approved Courses - This form is required bi-annually for all renewal applications beginning  December 1, 2006.

    NEW in the 2007 Rules: All Designer Licenses will expire annually on December 31st. If you have questions, please call 241-3822.

NOTE: Under the rules a Designer whose license is expired for more than 2 years can not renew; re-examination is required to become licensed again.
