2010 Science
on the Green
fieldtrip and Workshop choices
Late September 2010
marked the 5th anniversary for Science on
the Green in Waterbury.
Waterbury: 2010's
events were aimed at the 4-8th grade level. Field trips were
off-site in or near Waterbury.
In Waterbury on the grounds of the State Office Complex ,
focused sets of three workshops for
a particular area of study were also offered.

Noontime: Environmentally
Responsible Lunch Recycling and compost
bins were made available and solid waste was collected and analyzed
for waste prevention and reduction opportunities
